Sighz finally after so many attempts, I manage to post some pics...

This was what we had at Pasta Mania Buffet Dinner on Thurs...




On friday we went to "The Village" (similar to Marche) to have dinner and it was quite nice, nicer den Marche IMHO... Had our very first Chocolate Fondue there too (will post some pics of that as soon as my PC feels like posting the pics)

And after dinner we walk to Teh Tarik Man behind Far East Square and there was alot of pple from Planet Fitness doing this outdoor cycling workout with nice heavy bass remixes blasting away... very inspiring hehe


Then we decided to digest by walking around this fountains/water feature which was quite romantic as Michael Buble was playing in the background...


I was kinda hurt (emotionally) today in the office... my 3IC (I'm the 2IC) said that I was a push over and a too easy going guy, sighz maybe she was just using her "lian" part of her brain and maybe what she really meant to say was "what a great nice guy U're and I would really do anything u want me too!" hahaha oh well, being the nice and easy going me, I shall forgive and forget just as easily...

Food Galore! Or so I thot...

Hmmm weird, haven't been able to upload pics... and my post last nite got deleted crap! Oh well... no body said technology was perfect...

Time check 1245am and I still can't upload pics... hmmm I wonder y... dun rem changing any settings to my pc leh... oh well... guess it'll be a pictureless update den...

The past week was a whirlwind, time seems to literally take off and flew supersonic... good because in 3 weeks time will be our BBQ gathering at my place and in 4 weeks time I'll be in BKK with DD shopping and pigging out, not to mention ogling at the Trans and pretty thai gals hehe...

Have been really lazy lately, not working out much, not jamming the gym or jogging with DD or even going down to play bball with the kids... sighz... finally yesterday manage to get my lazy fat arse out of da house and jog like 6km with DD around my house... it was good work out but I think somehow I unknowingly hurt my back/shoulder as it hurts today when I exert too much strength... oh my kneecap hurts too... (ya ya ya, I know I sound like a wuss!)

I just have a sudden revelation that everyone will cross path at least once in our life... I mean our life styles have become so routine, that we take the same bus in the morning everyday to the MRT station and take the same train with the similar crowd in the train, everyone seems so familiar yet so distant coz we dunno each other... And sometimes when walking on the street, u'll find some guy very familiar coz u might have seen him on the train everyday or maybe u bought breakfast from him a few days ago...

SIEU 2005 Bowling Tournament

Haven't bowl in such a long time, and this morning was at OCC (Orchid Country Club) bowling my company in the SIEU 2005 Bowling Tournament. Well I'm lousy compared to 4yrs ago but at least I was consistent, maintaining 135+- hehe...

All the lucky draw prizes I missed out on coz I've to rush off to another appt right after bowling sighz...

Well not difficult to guess which is me lar, but den the scores were quite close...

It was fun while it lasted and it was extremely tiring coz we've to play 5 games! Oh well I might just get myself a new bowl (or stick with my Old faithful "Stinger") and start practising for more upcoming bowling events...

Regrets.... Humans r full of them

Was watching a new Channel U Program abt Searching for long lost friends (or someone whom had inspired them) of celebrities. And today's celebrities was a part time Actress whom have lost contact with her Primary School Teacher who have cared for her and inspired her to become what she is today...
But really, I think this program is full of regret, coz she regretted not thanking him before and telling him what she felt of him... so now she gets the chance to do so, GOOD FOR HER!

But not everyone have the chance to do that, to find a long lost friend or relative and then tell them how they've regretted not doing this and that... come on pple, this is the REAL world, no one lives in regrets, move it on...

Hmmm I might seem a bit heartless and cold but trust me I'm warmer and full of kindness then the next person that's reading my blog! (My DD can vouch for that!)

Another day goes by and I can't wait to get my Mid Autumn Festival Skit over with! Sighz, having to perform a skit 7 times to 7 floors of diff people and having to wear stupid costume is just simply tiring! Oh well wat the hack lar, as long as I can make other pple happy and laugh, I sure hell dun care if they're laughing with me or at me man!

DD and me went to People's Park Centre after work to do a market survey on the Price packages of Bangkok 4D3N Free&Easy... Guess what the price package of some of the agencies are just staggering, and so much difference between agencies... The most expensive one was $547 going by Jetstar Asia and Staying at Arnoma hotel and the Cheapest was $308 going by Tiger Airway and staying at Arnoma... hmmm of coz we're going for the cheapest one lar duh! Sighz I was hoping to stay at Novotel hotel (coz its a 4* and I heard great reviews abt it from lotsa my frends) or Pathumwan Princess hotel (coz its a 4* and I've stayed there b4 and it was great)... oh well I guess losers can't be choosers...

As we were walking to the bus stop to wait for our transport home we passed by this old shophouse selling lanterns and chinese calligraphy and stuffs... lotsa pretty and cute lanterns...



They even have Halloween Lanterns...

What izzit with Bloggers, Bizarre murders and Mozzies?

Its been a nagging question on my mind these few days... there's something awfully similar abt these 2 hot topics in the news lately... but wat izzit? Wait I know there's been at least 1 article on bloggers, mozzies and bizarre murders everyday! God sometimes I get so tired reading them, but den again u guys will be saying "ya we're getting tired reading ur blogs too" hmmmm

So what/whom izzit that gives this events/happenings so much attention? I think its the media (I'm trying to act smart here so bare with me...) Oh come guys, I'm sure u guys can see for yourself, Newspapers are splashed with news on them, TV News and Radio News gets first hand updates on them... but have u ever thot what if u're cut off from all these media, would even know what is a blog, or how dengue fever is on the rise? Well I can bet with u there's someone who's as ignorant to how AIDS are transmitted as to how there was a bizarre murder near my place! (well I know for sure my DD is one of those coz she's always cut off from the media)

Hey but without the media, would life still goes on? Hmmm I would really like to see "A sound of thunder Part 2 (who killed the media)"

Anyway work was a breeze today, nothing much to do, but still stayed till 7ish before heading home to watch Charmed... ya ya ya I'm a goggle box and I LOVE IT!

Had a meeting today for the Recreational Club and had to perform in a short skit for the Mid Autumn celebration this friday... sighz... and they've to choose me to be Hou Yi just becoz I've a goatee and am the coolest and weirdest looking guy in the whole damn building!?!?! (oh well I'm only complaining coz I dun get to eat my Raffles Champaigne Truffles mooncakes!) So had a rehearsal on the skit... which I think was kinda lame and long... oh well just have to intoxicate myself before the whole hoo haa and go with the flow I guess...

Oh crap I forgot I've a bowling tourney on Sat morning, there goes my "slp late on sat if I can" day... bummer

Went to Johor Bahru this morning with UMS, Aunt Angie and DD... there wasn't much of a jam (ok if u call a 20mins wait at the M'sian customs long den its a jam)... Went to Tun Aminah to have brunch, damn crowded lor (Lotsa M'sian Chinese there...) We had duck noodles, dim sum, fishball noodles and chendols and Ice Kachangs for brunch hahaha... its so god damn cheap there lor... Of coz we bought DVDs back lar hahaha, and of coz I went fish window shopping, nothing interesting caught my eyes thou... I'm still looking forward to our Nov Bangkok trip lar, hopefully it'll be a 5d 4n trip hehe lotsa shopping and pigging out...

Today was an exceptionally busy day, having 3 meetings in between my usual work and running ard the building... sighz...

3rd World "thinking" in a 1st World Country

Another debate on certain "Pet Issues" in S'pore... Just when I thot S'pore is opening up and moving towards a better future, an open society... if S'pore can be racial harmony and be tolerant of other races, culturals and religion, den y can't we just be tolerant of "Exotics"?

And they're talking abt increasing the penalty for the guy that "murdered" his Malamute... (which in my opinion we've to really see both sides of the coin, some say he's an evil dog owner, whereas there's rumours that he has some difficulties and that he wasn't given the chance to take care of his pet)

If u guys din realise... S'pore is the only Country in Asia that bans the herptiles or better known as "Exotics" as pets... what crap rite? oh well someone shoot me pls!

What is Love?

Can someone define wat is Love? What does it really mean? And y is there love? I think to love is to give unconditional sacrifices and time to someone, and to love is to change the someone for the better but not to what u want, and to love is to see him as he/she is now not what he/she was... (pls feel free to add...)

I've a frend whom have just broken up with her bf of 18mths, and the reason that the bf gave was simply ridiculas and dumb! He said he has lost feelings for her, and also said that he feels that she's just too good for him and that he cannot give her the life and future that she deserves... what crap man... if so den me and my DD wldn't have lasted 78mths man! (Today is our 78th mth anniversary)

Irritating Auntie and Comex 2005

Sighz I really cannot stand this auntie from my dept! She's the worst nightmare any management or supervisor can have! And I thot I was the worst rebel I've known in my life, how wrong was I man! This 60yrs old auntie (who thinks she's only 28yrs old) is worst den me man! She just refuse to conform to the norm and do things that it shld be done (the right way)... she just simply goes against the flow of work in my dept, doing things her own ways, creating problems for everyone else and when pple from other dept starts pointing finger, she'll simply just redirect the pointing to everyone else in my dept but herself! Crap man!

She thinks that everyone else is unfriendly towards her (which is totally not true lor, we still treat her very well even thou she always give us the cold treatment) and purposely against her and making things diff for and she just always grumbles that we're always changing the way we do our work (but the only person that's changing all the procedures is her lor!) so that she'll eventually be pressurized to quit on her own! I mean wat nonsense is that man!??!? Where the hell does she gets that kinda theory from? I think she's been watching too many drama serials!

And just becos she's in the union, she thinks she wun be able to be "get rid" of so easily coz the union will back her!?!?! Wat crap, comeon man, if u're really bad I think even the union will be ashame to be defending u lor, AUNTIE GROW UP PLS!

ok enough of my rantings... I just got back from Comex 2005 at Suntec Convention, lotsa n lotsa pple and damn bloody sqeezy! Sighz I've to "defend" my DD from being "molested"... poor her wearing a short skirt (at least she doesn't think so) and a low spahgetti top... sighz... Anyway we were looking for cheap deal on a Memory Stick Pro Duo for our new Sony Ericsson W800i and of coz to check out the new devices and technology... Lotsa new digi cams and MP3 players... might go down again on Sun to check out the "final Sales"

We're actually thinking of going Bangkok during November for a super long week break (u know the Deepavali and Hari Raya Puasa week) Hmmm Bangkok for 7 days? Think I'm gonna be super broke for the year man...
